Who doesn’t love a good futures wager?

Instead of the ups and downs of week-to-week wagering, take a long-term stance on a NFL player season total and you could have some money waiting for you once January rolls around.

Here are three individual player stat totals that are screaming for an OVER bet…

Hunter Renfrow (LV) Receptions OVER 77.5 [+110]

Davante Adams’ arrival should not automatically signal a substantial regression for Renfrow, who emerged as arguably the NFL’s top slot receiver in 2021. At closer look, there are enough targets for everyone to eat in this Raiders’ offense.

Seeing the most snaps of his three-year career, Renfrow hauled in 103 passes en-route to a 1,000-yard season last fall. Renfrow, who made nine TD grabs, was a consistent chain mover and clearly earned the trust of quarterback Derek Carr in key spots. Even if his receptions decrease by 20, he’ll still be over the 77.5 mark.

Gabe Davis (BUF) Receiving Yards OVER 875.5 (+100)

All aboard the Gabe Davis Hype Train!

Even though this total has been jacked up over the off-season, we see increased opportunities and increased production for the physically-gifted receiver.

Davis scored 13 touchdowns and averaged 16.4 yards per reception over his first two NFL seasons despite earning only 125 total targets over that span (this does not include postseason stats).

With Cole Beasley and Emmanuel Sanders no longer in the picture, Davis is expected to be the No. 2 option on a high volume passing offense. A 1,000-yard season should be well within his reach.

Aaron Rodgers (GB) OVER 31.5 TD passes

Am I missing something here? Did Aaron Rodgers not win the MVP award with a gaudy touchdown-to-interception ratio each of the past two seasons?

Losing Davante Adams will hurt any quarterback, but one has to believe Rodgers has plenty of mojo left until proven otherwise.

He can come in under his 2020 and 2021 totals (when he threw for 48 and 37 touchdowns, respectively) and still exceed this seemingly low 31.5 projection for 2022.

All totals were taken from DraftKings Online Sportsbook (New Jersey).
