Postseason all-star showcases will again be an important piece of the National Football League Draft process.
The Reese’s Senior Bowl, the East West Shrine Bowl, the NFLPA Bowl and others provide enormous opportunities for an array of college seniors who aspire to compete at the professional level.
One can argue that the all-star games hold even more importance for small-school prospects, including those from the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS). The postseason events offer increased exposure for athletes from schools that are sometimes overshadowed by Power 5 programs.
In 2022, a number of FCS products excelled on the all-star circuit on their way to signing NFL contracts.
