Aaron Rodgers hit the hiking trail with Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. last week.

Testing out his surgically-repaired Achilles, the New York Jets’ quarterback appeared to spend some quality time in nature with the White House hopeful. Kennedy, who is running an independent campaign to oust President Joe Biden, shared a photograph showing the two medical freedom advocates on a mountain climb.

In the image posted to social media site X, Kennedy and Rodgers are standing side-by-side with three dogs in the foreground and blue sky and mountainous terrain in the background. The 70-year-old environmental attorney is wearing blue jeans and a black longsleeve hooded pullover while the 40-year-old field general dons black shorts, a hooded sweatshirt and a black baseball cap.

“Hiking with @AaronRodgers12 and his amazing Achilles ⛰️,” said Kennedy in the X post timestamped 9:10 pm ET February 20.

During a past appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Rodgers, who has publicly supported Kennedy’s Presidential bid, suggested that the two men team up in a debate against Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce and former NIH director Dr. Anthony Fauci to discuss the merits of COVID vaccine mandates.

At this time last year, Rodgers was in the midst of a darkness retreat as he admittedly contemplated his NFL future. After emerging from isolation, the four-time NFL MVP stated his intention to play for the Jets while appearing on the Pat McAfee Show.

Last April, New York and the Green Bay Packers finally reached an agreement allowing Rodgers to join Gang Green. He ruptured his Achilles four offensive snaps into the season opener but was able to return to practice in December.
